Jools Scott’s debut solo album Josephine is a musical meditation on piano.  Dedicated to his mother, Josephine maps the stages of grief; from birth and innocence, to life spiralling away, Love, obsession and the path to darkness, to a place of peace and tranquility and finally, escape and release.

Jools’s 3 decade long musical career has seen his music performed by some of the most prestigious ensembles in the world (Philharmonia Orchestra, St. Paul’s Cathedral Choir). He has written, orchestrated or arranged music for giants such as Aardman, Netflix, BFI and National Theatre, and played to audiences from 1 to 10,000 in a multitude of venues ranging from small wine bars to the Glastonbury Festival and the Royal Albert Hall.
