NEW exhibition

Threads through Creation
January 7th – March 19th 2023

A special exhibition illustrating the bible story of Creation in 12 large, colourful panels. Free to visit, this display has vivid images to inspire creative reflection and discussion for all ages.  It’s the ideal resource for RE and Art & Design.

Guided Tours for EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Free 20 - 30 minute tours with sketching opportunities at the end (clipboards, paper and pencils provided).

Art Workshop for EYFS, KS1 and KS2:

Free Threads through Creation ‘Animal Appliqué’ workshop. Students will design their own response to the exhibition, using the animal outlines provided (or create them from their own imaginations). Make a glued appliqué animal using a wealth of richly coloured and patterned fabric. Differentiated for specific age groups and needs.

Trail for KS2 and Families:

A free trail can be downloaded here to print ahead of your visit. Aimed at KeyStage 2 level (7 - 11 years). Family visitors with parental support will be able to use the trail with children 5 years +. Free copies will also be available at the Welcome Desk.

Advance teaching resources

Free teaching resources including a children and adult exhibition guide will be posted to every school booking a visit.
