Learning

Our new learning programme is now available for primary and secondary schools

A warm welcome awaits you here in beautiful Bath Abbey - a place of Christian worship, fascinating history and exciting learning experiences.

Museum of the Moon - Guided tour for school groups

Visit Bath Abbey with your school group to see Luke Jerram's incredible Museum of the Moon.

We are anticipating that the Abbey will be very busy while the Museum of the Moon is on display, so we encourage school groups to book a time slot with guaranteed entry. Polly Andrews, Learning Officer, will give a guided introduction, including fascinating facts about the Moon, plus a free trailsheet to explore the Abbey is available. 30 minutes – 1 hour.

A festive added extra: Make a moon themed Christmas decoration in our new Learning room – add £1 per student. 30 minutes.

£3 per student, adults free

The Learning room can be booked for packed lunches, please ask for more details.
