Praying

We welcome everyone who wishes, to come to the Abbey to pray. There are different ways to take part in prayer at the Abbey:

Light a candle: pray for someone by lighting a candle at one of our candle stations.

Write a prayer: there is an opportunity to write a prayer and leave it to be offered up with others at one of our services. Please ask a steward for more details.

Join in our shared prayers: every hour prayers are said in the Abbey by the duty Chaplain.

Visit a Chapel space: the Birde Chantry (situated at the east end of the church) is normally reserved for private prayer.

Join the Prayer Trail: a trail leaflet is available enabling visitors to pray in different places around the Abbey. Please ask a Steward for details.

Speak to a duty Chaplain: if you would like someone to pray with you then please approach the duty Chaplain.
