Praying

Praying in the Abbey

You are invited to come into the Abbey to pause and reflect, pray or light a candle. The Birde Chapel and Gethsemane Chapel are also open and chaplains will be available to offer their support and prayers. To find out more about how we are keeping you safe please click here.

Online Prayer Requests

We recognise that not everyone is able to visit the Abbey. During this time of uncertainty, we invite you to submit a prayer request online for yourself, for those you love or for those at the frontline of fighting the Coronavirus. Your requests will read and offered up by one of the Abbey’s priests and a small team of specially appointed members, currently led by The Revd Evelyn Lee-Barber.

May you know God’s strength, comfort and peace at this time.

Please email us your request to prayer@bathabbey.org or fill in the form below. We would be grateful if you're able to keep your requests to a maximum of 150 words.
