Group Visits
We welcome groups to visit and explore the Abbey at their own leisure or with their own guide. Groups of 10 or more are required to book in advance.
Please note: To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you make your booking at least four weeks in advance. Whilst we make every effort to welcome everyone to the Abbey, we cannot always accommodate groups without bookings.
Types of group visits
| Self-guided visit | Adults £7, Students £6, Children £4, Tour Guide Free Explore the Abbey and find out about the history behind the building with a free information leaflet. Email visits@bathabbey.org for more information and to make a booking. Prices available up to 12pm three days before your chosen session. After this time, standard admission rates apply. |
| Tower Tours | Price on Request Climb 212 steps to explore the ringing room, bell chamber and see stunning views of the city. Email towertours@bathabbey.org or call 01225 303315 for more information, to discuss requirements and to make a booking. |
| Bespoke Talks and Tours | Price on Request We are able to offer bespoke talks and tours for special interest groups. Email visits@bathabbey.org or call 01225 303315 to discuss any requirements and make a booking. |

Group Tower Tours
We can arrange private tours of the Tower. Social groups, corporate events, Church groups, guides and scouts and many others have all enjoyed climbing the Tower. You can even bring a drink to enjoy at the top! Group tours must be booked in advance.
Health and Safety
Children under 5 will not be permitted to take part in the tour. Children aged between 5 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Due to the nature of this tour, it may not be suitable for those who suffer from poor mobility, claustrophobia, vertigo or general ill health. If you fall into any of these categories, please contact us for further information.
Sensible footwear and clothing should be worn.
In the interest of keeping all our visitors safe, Bath Abbey reserves the right to disallow group members on the tour if our Terms and Conditions are not adhered to.
