The Service of Choral Evensong usually takes place each Sunday at 4.30pm, making for a peaceful and prayerful start to the week. It lasts for approximately 45 minutes, blending the much-loved traditional liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer (1662) with a rich repertoire of English Church music. The service is currently sung by a reduced Abbey choir, in accordance with Government and Church of England guidelines.

Online Remembrance Concert

Fri 6 November at 7:30 pm until 8:30 pm

Join the Bath Abbey Choir online as they pay tribute to those fallen in the First World War, Second World War and all conflicts since.   Instead of the usual Remembrance Day concert in the Abbey, this year, the Abbey Choir conducted by Huw Williams, Bath Abbey's Director of Music, will perform in a pre-recorded concert that will be made available on the Abbey website and the Abbey Choir's Youtube Channel so that people can watch from their homes and…

Organ Recital – Music for Remembrance

Music for Remembrance performed by our Director of Music, Huw Williams. The programme will include Nimrod by Elgar and Solemn melody by Thalben-Ball Tickets are available to book through Eventbrite or through the Abbey Shop: 01225 303327. Tickets cost £12 or £6 for children under 16. Tickets are limited to ensure social distancing. Please wear a face mask in the Abbey.
