Bath Abbey’s annual Christmas Concert featuring the Abbey Girls' Choir and the Melody Makers, the Abbey’s youngest choir of 6-11 year olds, plus the organ and harp. A concert featuring well known and much loved Christmas classics for choir and audience. Directed by Huw Williams - Director of Music, Bath Abbey. Organist - Shean Bowers Harpist - Eluned Pierce Tickets £8-£16 available from Bath Box Office.

Choral Evensong

Choral Evensong takes place on Thursdays at 5.30pm and Sundays at 3.30pm and lasts for approximately 45 minutes. This formal service combines the memorable cadences of Thomas Cranmer's Book of Common Prayer with a distinctive repertoire of English Church music. During term-time these services are sung by the Abbey's choirs of Girls and Lay-clerks, or Boys and Lay-clerks. During the holidays these services may be sung by visiting choirs.

A beautiful service based around nine Bible readings interspersed with Christmas hymns and carols sung by the Abbey Choir of Boys and Lay-Clerks. Entry for this event is by (free) ticket only. Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols 2019

A beautiful service based around nine Bible readings interspersed with Christmas hymns and carols sung by the Abbey Choir of Boys and Lay-Clerks. Entry is by (free) ticket only.
