Dr William Reynolds is Organist & Director of Music at St Mary’s Collegiate Church, Swansea, alongside which he is Regional Manager (Wales) for the Royal School of Church Music, Musical Director of the Gower Chorale, and a Visiting Music Tutor at Swansea University. He maintains a busy portfolio as a musician pursuing a wide range of activity including organ and harpsichord performance, choral conducting, editorial musicology, and arts consultancy.
William studied music at University of Wales, Bangor, where he gained the degrees of BMus, MA and PhD. Among his organ teachers were Andrew Goodwin, David Gedge, Martin Souter, Huw Tregelles Williams and Jane Watts. Organist posts held have included Organist at Christ College, Brecon, Sub-organist at Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral, and Organ Scholar at Bangor Cathedral. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.
