A collaboration with Bathnes Libraries and inspired by the Summer Reading Challenge 2022 Gadgeteers Celebrations, Bath Abbey is hosting a Tower Discovery Day with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)

For children aged 4 – 11 years, families will have the choice of:

• Finding out more about the history of the Abbey’s Tower and other church towers in the city via an archive table display in the South Aisle
• Listening to stories about the construction and architecture of churches and other interesting buildings
• Trying some hands-on construction activities in the Learning room including ‘outdoor’ jenga, arch construction game and making a tower using spaghetti and marshmallows. Free 45 minute slots – book here.
