Cardiff University Brass Band Society was formed to create a friendly musical space for brass and percussion players at the university to socialise and make great music together.

The band performs in Cardiff regularly and sometimes further afield, with a main concert each semester as well as many other events such as Students Union Showcases, Cardiff Half Marathon and of course busking! The band has also competed several times in the National University Brass Band Championships of Great Britain (aka UniBrass), taking them all over the UK to play.

This year, we have performed at many exciting events including a weekend away to play in the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, workshops from the Band of the Prince of Wales and the one and only Philip Harper! This year is also our 15th anniversary, and we will be celebrating with a fabulous end-of-year anniversary concert.

The band will by playing a mixture of brass band favourites, music from stage and screen, and some pop songs.
