Calling the whole Bath Abbey family! All congregation members, staff and volunteers are invited to take part in our ‘2020 Vision’ day, 10am-2.30pm on Sunday 27 October here in the Abbey. The Rector and others will be leading us in a vision exercise that sets our path forward for the next five years, in every dimension of the Abbey’s life and mission through Footprint and beyond, and we need your prayers and wisdom!

Please note that there will be one joint service in the Abbey on this day, at 10.00am –
designed to launch our 2020 Vision exercise and bring together our usual 8am, 9.30am & 11.15am congregations. The Vision Day will include presentations, prayers, discussion exercises (for adults, young people and children), and a bring and share feast in the Abbey. It will aim to be fun, interactive, prayerful and inclusive of all our voices, and will finish by 2.30pm: giving our Church Council a clear steer, in preparation of an Abbey Mission Action Plan for 2020 to 2025.

The building will be closed for visiting until after Evensong that day, at which those
who wish can stay on for some closing prayers.
