Extraordinary Earth Day

A day for residents, visitors and families to see what’s going on in Bath and region to help combat climate change and support the city in living more sustainably.
The Event will be opened at 10.30am by:
Lord Lieutenant Mohammed Sadiq, on behalf of King Charles
James Levelle, Climate Champion and Film Director
The following Charities & Organisations will be exhibiting:
From 10am – 1pm
Cropdrop, Bathscape, BWCE, CEYA, Transition Bath, Buzz & Scuttle, Climate Hub, CafeBANES, Be Bold BANES, More trees BANES, Share & Repair, Global Citizens
From 2-5pm
Rethinking Security, Greenpeace, Meadow in my Garden, Avon Schools Eco-network, Transition Bath, Grow Batheaston, XR Bath, CafeBANES, Your Park B&B, More Trees BANES, Blooming Whiteway, Global Citizens
There will be 15 minutes talks:
11.30am – Sara Grimes, Eco-Together
1.30pm – Young People’s Voice (Kingswood School)
2.30pm – Caroline Pomeroy, Knowing your Carbon footprint
3.30pm – Martin Palmer, Tackling Conservation
Family activities
These will be on the Abbey floor throughout the day, with Seedbomb making in the Abbey’s Learning Room.
A Climate Choir will sing at 12.30pm
Free with standard admission. No booking required.
No charge for Discovery Card holders and BA1 or BA2 residents with card or proof of address.
