Summer Evening Choral Concert - The Aquae Sulis Chorale

Raising funds for the Abbey’s Footprint Project: all money raised, including ticket sales, will be doubled by the Brownsword Charitable Foundation.

  • 12 July - The Aquae Sulis Chorale

Director: Shean Bowers

Tickets are limited and are available from Bath Box Office: £10 Adult, £5 Child/Concessions. Please do purchase as soon as possible to ensure you get a seat.

All money raised, including ticket sales, will automatically be doubled thanks to the Brownsword Charitable Foundation, which is match-funding all donations to the Abbey’s Footprint project.

Join us for an evening filled with the beautiful sound of choral music. Led by our Assistant Director of Music, Shean Bowers, the Aquae Sulis Chorale will sing some well known and much loved favourites such as Zadok the Priest by Handel, Parry’s I was Glad, Stanford’s Blue Bird, Tippet's Five Spirituals (from A Child of our Time) and much more.

The Footprint Project is a £19.3 million programme of restoration, building works and interpretation that will secure the Abbey's physical future and improve its hospitality, worship and service to the city. This includes a Song School - a brand new choir space which will be home for the Abbey’s choirs and where musicians who come to perform at the Abbey can rehearse and be made welcome.
