This formal service combines the memorable cadences of Thomas Cranmer’s Book of Common Prayer with a distinctive repertoire of English Church music. Today’s service is being sung by the Abbey Choir of Boys and Lay-clerks.
An opportunity for regular worshippers, newcomers and visitors to step out of the ‘busyness’ of their daily lives and to reconnect with their spiritual lives, whatever their beliefs. Words, silence and music combine in this beautiful space to inspire and to calm.
The collection from our midweek choral evensongs goes to the Abbey to support the educational provision for our choirs.
