Holy Communion

Please join us for Holy Communion, our main Sunday act of worship, with contemporary language and beautiful music (usually including singing by members of the Abbey Choir). Tickets for this service need to be booked in advance via Eventbrite or through the Abbey Office, and seating is limited to ensure social distancing. If you are unable to join us in the Abbey for this service, you can join us live through Facebook, or after Sunday on our YouTube channel.

Choral Evensong

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Sunday, repeating until Sun 19 December, 2021

The Service of Choral Evensong usually takes place each Sunday at 4.30pm, making for a peaceful and prayerful start to the week. It lasts for approximately 45 minutes, blending the much-loved traditional liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer (1662) with a rich repertoire of English Church music. The service is currently sung by a reduced Abbey choir, in accordance with Government and Church of England guidelines.

Midweek Service

A short reflective service every Wednesday lunchtime, offering 20 minutes to pause for prayer, Bible reading and silence. No tickets are required, but limited seating is available (on a first-come, first-serve basis) due to social distancing measures.
