On Sunday 18th December Bath Abbey hosted our annual Family Carols service, welcoming families from Bath and beyond.
Children came dressed up for the Nativity: as shepherds, kings, angels and even a star. Special guest Dermot the donkey accompanied Mary and Joseph down the Nave to join the Nativity scene.
Abbey Pastor, Chantal Mason, led the service accompanied by Abbey Curate, Cath Candish. A merry mood prevailed, as families heard the story of the birth of Christ and celebrated the Christmas story.
Melody Makers, the Abbey’s youngest choir, led the carols, dressed as characters from the Nativity.
