Handel's Messiah - Bath Abbey Choir of Girls and Gentlemen with Canzona

Friday 7 April 2017

Messiah, composed in 1741, remains one of George Frideric Handel’s most well-known and best-loved works. The oratorio which, through meaningful choruses and exquisite arias, tells the story of Jesus’ life from birth to his resurrection and ascension, forms part of our preparations for Easter at Bath Abbey. Come and enjoy this choral masterpiece sung by the Abbey Choirs of Girls and Men under the expert direction of Huw Williams, Bath Abbey's new Director of Music, and accompanied on period instruments by the leading baroque ensemble, Canzona.

Tickets available from Bath Box Office, with prices ranging from £10-£20.
