Bath Bach Choir's baroque summer: Vivaldi & Handel

For our prestigious summer concert we will perform two iconic baroque works: the hugely popular Gloria by Vivaldi, bursting with joyous melodies, and Handel's exuberant and uplifting setting of the psalm Dixit Dominus - composed when he was just 22 and learning his trade in Italy. We welcome three outstanding soloists, including former King's Singer David Hurley, together with Margaret Faultless and her authentic period orchestra - Music for Awhile - who will open the concert with a Suite from Handel's all-time favourite Water Music.
