Volunteer Officer

Part-time 24 hour week
FTE £22,000 pro rota 

We are looking for a Volunteer Officer to recruit, induct and train the volunteers required to deliver the Abbey’s Footprint Project Activity Plan. Through the Footprint Project Volunteering Programme, new volunteers will work on projects and deliver activities that will enhance the current visitor experience and ensure the successful day to day operation of the Abbey. The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience of administering a volunteering programme (or similar) comprising large numbers of volunteers.
