Bath Abbey Music Society
Bath Abbey Music Society
is a registered charity (No: 1123118) which
provides financial and organisational support for the Abbey’s musicians. It
promotes concerts featuring the
Abbey Choir, and
organ recitals and
lunchtime proms on our magnificent
Klais Organ. It sponsors the recording
of
Bath Abbey Choir & Organ CDs, and
assists with choir tours and other trips. Details of forthcoming Choir Concerts
can be found under Concerts.
Membership of Bath Abbey Music Society (BAMS) is
open to anyone for an annual subscription of £10. The subscription year runs
from January 1st - December 31st. Members benefit from priority
booking and discounted tickets for some BAMS concerts. They also receive a copy of
The Chorister - the Music Society's newsletter keeping members informed about the Abbey choirs,
the organ and the Abbey's music. Patrons pay an annual subscription of £30. They receive all the benefits of a member
and may also have a free ticket for two major concerts.
