Children

There is a thriving ministry to Children and Young People at the Abbey.

Children and young people are very welcome at the Abbey’s worship and more than 50 young people sing in the Abbey’s choirs.

Our ministry to children and young people is centred around the 9.15am service every  Sunday morning.

There is a crèche and groups for the different ages.  These groups meet during worship and are led by a large team of volunteers. 

A number of students from local universities are employed as youth workers on a part-time basis.  (If you would like more information about this, please contact the Rector.)

The students run groups for teenagers both on Sundays and occasionally during the week for special events.
